CHRISTIANS TOGETHER IN LUNESDALE – LENT GROUPS
These begin week commencing 22 February and all will follow the York Course.

Tuesday/Wednesday

Christians Together in Lunesdale is an organization which represents the different worshipping groups in our community. It has a steering group made up of representatives from the Anglican, Methodist, Roman Catholic churches and the local Quaker meeting.
The steering group meets around 6 times a year and oversees a whole variety of events.
These include:-
- a holiday club and other childrens events
- a weekly Tuesday morning prayer meeting at St Marys
- a Meet to Eat lunch Club
- Alpha courses
- special events for the week of prayer for Christian unity
- joint Easter worship
- joint worship for Christian Aid week and Remembrance Sunday
- links with a church community in Bradford
- weekend retreats
- quiet days
This group is a positive and encouraging group which affirms the work and witness of Christians in our community.
